| The Hunt Club AGM was held in November with Robert Benney elected as President, our new Master is Tony Blight, David Rowsell Treasurer, Carmen Joseph Secretary, with the Committee of Nathan Trethewey, Tessa Dennis, Rodger Borgmeyer and Rose Benney. This year is very busy for the KI Hunt Club as we are hosting the Combined State Run with Hunt Clubs from all over the State converging on KI for the June Long weekend. Parndana is the base for the weekend with visitors camping at the Parndana Sports Ground. The Hunt will be conducted at “St Ives South” on Sunday June 8th at 11.00am. We have set up a website www.kihuntclub.org.au for further information or keep a look out in the Islander for updates. The Hunt Club lost two courses due to the December fires, so working bees are needed. The first one will be at “Harriet Springs” property of Shirley and Kingsley Pledge, on Sunday 6th April at 10.00am. Please bring a packed lunch and tools. Preliminary Hunt will be held on April 20th 1.45pm at “Harriet Springs”, this is a casual Hunt; new comers are welcome to participate. The Opening Hunt is on May 4th 12 pm at “Lyndhurst” property of Nathan and Jen Trethewey. For further information phone 8559 3263. Hope to see you there. |
